Technology for Humanity is the guiding principle of the Hamburg University of Technology. Kiel University was founded in 1665. With 27,000 students and around 3,700 employees, it is the oldest, largest and best-known university in the federal state between the seas and the only comprehensive university in Schleswig-Holstein. Seven Nobel laureates have worked and researched here. Since 2006, the Kiel University has been successfully participating in the Excellence Strategy of the German federal and state governments.<\/p>\n\n\n

University of L\u00fcbeck<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFocusing on life\u201d – the University of L\u00fcbeck represents health, science and social progress. Founded in 1964 as a medical academy, it is now a modern life sciences university with clear profiles in medicine, health sciences, natural sciences, informatics, mathematics, technology and psychology. Since 2015 it has been a Stiftungsuniversit\u00e4t<\/em> (a foundation under public law). Around 6,200 students can benefit from an interdisciplinary range of study programmes, close links to research and a personal atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n
